The Advo launch program is open: 10 spots for B2B software publishers, 10 for advertisers. See what’s included

For independent B2B software publishers

Earn from the AI crawlers already reading your site.

AI assistants read your reviews and buying guides to answer buyers’ questions. Advo pays you to host one labeled, sourced sponsor card on the pages you choose, rendered on your server so readers and crawlers see the same thing. You approve every advertiser. Launch publishers keep 70%.

The problem

Your pages are being read more than they’re being visited.

8% vs 15%

Visits with a click on a regular result, with and without an AI summary

Search clicks are shrinking

When a results page or an assistant answers the question directly, fewer people click through to the page that supplied the answer. When Google showed an AI summary, users clicked a regular result in 8% of visits, versus 15% with no summary (Pew Research Center, July 2025). Across more than 2,500 news publishers, Google search traffic fell 33% in a year (Reuters Institute, January 2026).

38,000 : 1

Pages Anthropic crawled per visitor it referred, July 2025

AI crawlers take more than they send

AI crawler traffic to publishers is climbing: GPTBot requests rose 305% from May 2024 to May 2025 (Cloudflare, July 2025). And for every visitor AI engines send back, their crawlers fetch far more pages. In July 2025, Anthropic crawled about 38,000 pages for every visitor it referred, and OpenAI about 1,091 (Cloudflare, August 2025).

None

Major AI crawlers that rendered JavaScript in Vercel’s analysis

Your ad stack is invisible to them

Display ads, affiliate widgets and sponsored modules usually load with JavaScript, and most AI crawlers don’t run it. In Vercel’s analysis, none of the major AI crawlers from OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Meta or ByteDance rendered JavaScript (Vercel, December 2024). So the crawler traffic you already serve earns you nothing.

How it works

Install. Control. Earn.

  1. Step 1: Install

Add the WordPress plugin, the Next.js component or the HTML API, and we set it up with you. The card renders on your server, inside your page. Free AI crawler analytics come with it, before any sponsor.
  2. Step 2: Control

Choose which sections can carry cards. Approve or decline every advertiser. Block whole categories or specific companies. Remove any card, any time.
  3. Step 3: Earn

We sell the placements, verify every claim and handle reporting and billing. As a launch publisher you keep 70% of every placement on your pages, paid monthly.

Control

Nothing runs on your site without your say.

  • Approve every advertiser. You see who they are and what their card says before anything runs.

  • Block categories or companies.Rule out whole categories, or specific companies, up front.

  • Choose where cards can go.Pick the sections, categories or pages that can carry a card, and where it sits in the article.

  • Remove any card, any time.Take a card down whenever you want, no questions asked.

  • One card per page, maximum.Never a sidebar full of sponsors.

  • Editorial is never touched.Advo doesn’t change a word of your article, a rating or a ranking.

Free, before any sponsor

The counter reads the user agent to count visits. It never changes what your page serves.

Safety

Built so nothing about it needs defending.

One page for everyone

The card is part of the HTML every visitor gets. No bot-only version, no hidden text, nothing that changes by user agent. Anyone can check with Symmetry Check.

Labeled, every time

Every card is labeled “Ad” and names the advertiser, in text, boxed off from your editorial.

Follows your robots.txt

If you block a crawler, Advo never tries to get a card to it another way.

Your editorial stays yours

Advo never changes your content, your ratings or your rankings. The card sits beside your work, not inside it.

Nothing unsourced on your page

Every claim is verified against a public source before it runs and re-checked weekly. If a source breaks, the card pauses itself.

Install

Three ways to install. All server-side.

Each one renders the card into your HTML before the page is sent, and each comes with free crawler analytics. We set it up with you.

Option 1

WordPress plugin

Works with page caching. The card is part of the cached HTML, the same for everyone.
  1. 1Step 1: Install and activate the Advo plugin.
  2. 2Step 2: Connect it to your Advo account.
  3. 3Step 3: Choose which categories or sections can carry cards, and where the card sits in an article.
  4. 4Step 4: That’s it. Crawler analytics start right away. Cards appear only after you approve an advertiser.

Option 2

React / Next.js

A React Server Component. It renders the card into your HTML on the server and ships no JavaScript to the browser.
  1. 1Step 1: Add the Advo component to the templates that can carry a card, such as your reviews and guides.
  2. 2Step 2: Connect it to your Advo account.
  3. 3Step 3: If no card is approved for a page, the component renders nothing.

Option 3

HTML API (any CMS or stack)

Returns ready-to-embed HTML for a page, to render on your server.
  1. 1Step 1: Request the card for a page from your server.
  2. 2Step 2: Render the HTML into the page where the card belongs.
  3. 3Step 3: If a page has no active card, there’s nothing to render.

Revenue

Launch publishers keep 70% of every placement.

Advertisers pay a flat monthly fee for each placement on your pages. A placement is one advertiser’s card on one of your topic clusters, such as all your CRM reviews and guides, for a month. The standard publisher share is 60%. Our first 10 launch publishers keep 70%, locked for 12 months.

  • Paid monthly, for every billed day
  • Setup is free. Crawler analytics are free.
  • No exclusivity. Keep your other ads, affiliate links and sponsorships.
  • We handle sales, claim verification, reporting and billing.

About billed days

Advertisers aren’t charged for days a card is down on your pages or a major AI engine is blocking or excluding them. That’s our Live Guarantee to advertisers, and there’s no payout for those days. Keeping cards live and pages readable is how both sides get paid.

Fit

Who we’re looking for

  • Independent or mid-size B2B software publishers: review and comparison sites, SaaS buying guides, trade blogs, tool directories, and newsletters with a public web archive.
  • Roughly 100k to 5M monthly visits.
  • Original editorial on categories buyers research: CRM, sales tools, marketing automation, help desk, project management, HR and payroll, security and compliance, dev tools, data and analytics.
  • Pages AI crawlers can reach. If your robots.txt blocks every AI crawler, there’s nothing for an advertiser to buy, and we’ll never work around it.
  • Comfortable with a labeled sponsor card next to your editorial.

Not sure? Run a page through Symmetry Check, or book a call and we’ll look at your site together.

FAQ

Publisher questions

How much will I earn?
It depends on how many placements run on your pages. Each placement is a flat monthly fee, set by your topic cluster’s AI crawl volume and how well it fits the advertiser’s category, and launch publishers keep 70% of it. On the call we’ll look at your site together and talk through what’s realistic.
Do I have to accept any advertiser?
No. You approve every advertiser before anything runs, and you can block categories or specific companies up front.
Will it slow my pages down?
The card is a small block of server-rendered HTML with no scripts. There’s nothing extra for a reader’s browser to download or run.
What if I block some AI crawlers?
Advo follows your robots.txt, always. Placements are priced on the crawlers that can read your pages. If a major engine can’t reach your pages, the advertiser isn’t billed for those days, so there’s no payout for them either.
Does it work with my cache or CDN?
Yes. On WordPress the card is part of your cached HTML, the same for everyone. On other stacks, you render the card on your server and cache the page as usual.
Can I use the crawler analytics without running sponsors?
Yes. The analytics work as soon as the integration is installed, whether or not you ever approve an advertiser.
Is there exclusivity or a lock-in?
No exclusivity. Keep running your other ads, affiliate links and sponsorships. You can remove any Advo card at any time.
Who deals with the advertisers?
We do: sales, claim verification, reporting and billing. You approve, host and get paid.
Could a card make my site look bad?
Every claim is verified against a public source before it runs and re-checked weekly, and the card pauses itself if a source breaks. Superlatives, competitor comparisons without a third-party source, health claims and financial-performance claims never run. It’s labeled and boxed off, so no reader mistakes it for your opinion.
