The Advo launch program is open: 10 spots for B2B software publishers, 10 for advertisers. See what’s included

For B2B software marketing teams

Put accurate facts about your product on the pages AI assistants read.

Advo places a labeled, sourced Verified Facts card on independent review sites, buying guides and trade blogs in your category. Readers and AI crawlers see the same card. Every week you see whether your facts are surfacing in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, with the raw answers.

The Stack Review · Buying guide

The best CRM for startups in 2026

Updated Sep 2026 · 12 min read

Sample data. Northwind CRM and The Stack Review are fictional.

The problem

Your buyers ask AI first. You don’t control what it reads.

01

The shortlist forms before the site visit

Buyers ask an assistant “What’s the best CRM for a 20-person sales team?” and get a handful of names back. Half of B2B software buyers (51%) now start software research in an AI chatbot more often than in Google, according to a G2 survey of 1,076 buyers (G2, April 2026). If you’re not in that answer, you may never get the visit.

02

The answer can be wrong about you

Assistants repeat what their sources say. If those pages list last year’s pricing, miss your new Outlook integration or describe a plan you retired, the answer does too.

03

Monitoring shows the gap. It doesn’t close it.

AI visibility tools can show you where you’re missing or misdescribed. Then what? Your own site is one source among many, and for category questions assistants lean on review sites and guides you don’t own. In one study of ChatGPT recommendation answers, “best X” list articles were the most-cited page type, at 43.8% of cited pages (Ahrefs, December 2025).

How Advo helps

A direct, labeled line into the sources AI reads.

Advo gives you a placement you control on pages you don’t own. You write the facts. We verify them. Publishers you’ve agreed on host them in a labeled card, on the real page, for every reader and every crawler. Then we measure what happened.
  1. Step 1: You submit your facts

Three to five short claims, each with a public source: your docs, pricing page, trust center, a third-party audit or a public listing.
  2. Step 2: We verify every one

Each claim is checked against its source before it runs. If one doesn’t pass, you get the reason and a suggested rewrite that will.
  3. Step 3: You agree the placement

We propose topic clusters on publisher sites that fit your category. You see the pages. The publisher approves you. Then the card goes live, rendered on their server, inside the article.
  4. Step 4: You get a weekly report

Which AI crawlers fetched your pages, whether your facts surfaced in four engines (with the raw answers), and how many readers saw and clicked the card.

What’s included

What every placement includes

A Verified Facts card on a topic cluster

Your card on one publisher’s set of related pages for a month. For example: every CRM review, “best CRM” guide and CRM comparison on a review site.

Claim verification, with rewrites

Every claim checked against its source before launch. Anything that doesn’t pass comes back with the reason and a version that would.

Weekly re-verification

If your pricing page changes and a claim no longer matches, the card pauses and we tell you what changed. You aren’t billed while it’s paused.

Pages you’ve seen, publishers who said yes

You see the agreed pages before anything runs, and the publisher approves you as an advertiser.

A baseline, then weekly reporting

We run your answer-check prompts before the card goes live, so you have something to compare against. Then every week: crawl confirmations, answer checks with raw answers, impressions and clicks.

The Live Guarantee

No charge for any day your card isn’t live on the agreed pages, or any day a major AI engine is blocking or excluding them.

Claims

What you can say on a card

Cards carry facts a reader could check, each linked to a source that supports it as written. Here’s how that plays out for a sample advertiser.
Sample claims for Northwind CRM, a fictional company.
Won’t run“The #1 CRM for startups”WhySuperlative with no named third-party sourceRuns instead“Free plan for up to 3 users”Source it links toNorthwind’s pricing page
Won’t run“Easier to set up than [competitor]”WhyCompetitor comparison with no named third-party sourceRuns instead“Imports contacts from CSV, Gmail or Outlook during setup”Source it links toNorthwind’s setup docs
Won’t run“Integrates with everything”WhyNot specific enough to checkRuns instead“Native two-way sync with Gmail and Outlook”Source it links toNorthwind’s integrations docs
Won’t run“Enterprise-grade security”WhyVague quality claimRuns instead“SOC 2 Type II audited”Source it links toNorthwind’s trust center
Won’t run“Teams close 30% more deals with Northwind”WhyPerformance claim with no independent sourceRuns instead“Deal stages, forecasts and pipeline reports on every paid plan”Source it links toNorthwind’s pricing page

Superlatives and comparisons aren’t banned outright. They can run when a named, current third-party source supports them and the card says who, for example “Rated 4.7 out of 5 on [named review site], September 2026.” Health claims and financial-performance claims never run.

Reporting

A report you can check, not just a score.

Every number in the report comes with the evidence behind it. If you disagree with one of our calls, you have what you need to argue.
Crawl confirmations
Fetches of your pages by each major AI crawler, by page and by day, while your card was live.
Answer checks

Human engagement
Impressions and clicks on the card’s source links from real readers, counted without cookies.
Live Guarantee log
Days live on each agreed page, any credited days, and the reason for each credit.

Answer checks show you whether your facts are surfacing. They can’t make an engine cite you, and we’ll never tell you otherwise.

Pricing

One flat monthly fee per placement. Nothing for days you’re not live.

What you’re buying

A placement is one Verified Facts card on one publisher’s topic cluster for one month. A topic cluster is a set of related pages on one site, like all of a review site’s CRM reviews and “best CRM” guides.

How it’s priced

A flat monthly fee, set by how much AI crawler traffic the cluster gets and how closely it fits your category. There’s no CPM, no pay-per-click and no auction, so you know the price before you start.

The Live Guarantee

You’re not billed for any day your card isn’t live on the agreed pages, or any day a major AI engine (OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Perplexity, Anthropic’s Claude or Google’s Gemini) is blocking or excluding the host pages. We check every agreed page daily. Credits are prorated by the day and itemized in your monthly report, with the reason for each one.

The term

The first term is three months. AI engines take weeks to recrawl pages and reflect new sources, so anything shorter can’t be judged fairly. After that, it’s month to month. No long lock-ins.

Launch partner rate

Our first 10 advertisers get a launch rate, locked for 6 months.

FAQ

Advertiser questions

Which publishers will my card run on?
Independent B2B software publishers: review and comparison sites, buying guides, trade blogs and tool directories in your category. Our launch program has spots for 10 publishers. You’ll see the exact pages before anything runs.
How soon will I see results?
Crawl confirmations start as soon as the card is live. Answer checks are slower to show any change, because engines recrawl pages and refresh their sources on their own schedule, often over weeks, and they decide what to use. That’s why the first term is three months, and why we run a baseline before launch.
Will ChatGPT or Perplexity cite me because of this?
We can’t promise that, and nobody honest can. What we guarantee is that the card is live, identical for readers and crawlers, verified, and measured. The weekly answer checks show you, with the raw answers, whether your facts are surfacing.
Can I change my claims?
Yes, any time. New or edited claims go through verification before they replace the live ones.
What happens if my pricing page changes?
Weekly re-verification catches it. If a claim no longer matches its source, the card pauses and we tell you exactly what changed. Fix the claim or the source and it goes back live. You aren’t billed while it’s paused.
Can I choose or exclude publishers?
Yes. You see the topic cluster and the pages before a placement starts. If a site isn’t right for you, it doesn’t go ahead.
Is this compliant with ad disclosure rules?
Every card is labeled “Ad” and names you, in text, on the same page for every visitor. “Ad” is one of the labels the FTC lists as likely to be understood, and our labeling follows the FTC’s native advertising guidance (FTC, 2015) and Canada’s Competition Bureau guidance (Competition Bureau Canada, 2015).
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. SEO and AEO agencies can buy and manage placements on behalf of their clients. Book a demo and tell us it’s for a client.
What’s on the invoice?
Your flat monthly fee per placement, minus any Live Guarantee credits, itemized by day with the reason for each.
